In Pictures: Tulum

The ancient Mayan city of Tulum, Quintana Roo is just north of the modern city of the same name. Right on the Caribbean coast in the Mayan Riveria, the ancient settlement of Tulum feels more like a local town than Chichén Itzá. Easy to visit, we took a minibus which the locals take, and wondered around without any guides. I’d recommend visiting both the ancient and modern settlements – we had some great food Tulum!
